absolute position on page

when i put a table beside 2 graphs on my report, as the table expands it pushs the bottom table down ONLY when when it's displayed on the final webpage. the preview features shows it as being correct.

how do i prevent the expanding table from pushing the tables BESIDE it down? i could understand if it was a table below it, but it's not.

Hi,
Try putting all the components inside the Rectangle.But i dont think it will stop the expansion of Tables.But try implementing that way and see
In your case put Graphs,2 Tables inside the Rectangle and verify.|||ok what i tried, was putting the table inside a rectangle. by my understaning the table will expand inside the rectangle ? it seems like my rectangle is what's pushing down my bottom graph?|||

Hi

I'm having this problem also.

If I have many tables, differently positioned on one report.

Than tables that are higher positioned in design mode push all tables when in view mode (rendered), that are lower positioned, regardless wether they are directly beneath or beside !

I've tried to use rectangles but that doesn't matter,

Any advices ?

About ReportViewer Control

I build a web page,display a report with ReportViewer ,I set its height 100% ,but the page doesn't display anything, why?

thanks for any helps.

Can you attach an RDL (or .rdlc) file with report definition to this post?

Thanks,

100% height doesn't work. For a description, see http://www.gotreportviewer.com (FAQ #14).

This is on my list of things to figure out, but just haven't had the time. It must be possible since it works in the MS Report Manager and the Dundas demo (http://demos2.dundas.com/ReportingServices/).

What I would like to find is a sample asp.net application that interfaces with the reportviewer by resizing the height and modifying report parameters.

About receiving an image from SQL server 2000 and displaying it in aspx page..............

hi friends,

i need a code for storing and receiving an image to/fro SQL SERVER 2000 (in C#). i had searched some sites, all are in VB for windows forms not for website. finally i got a code from some site. it is working for storing purpose. not working for receiving purpose. the code for receiving and displaying purpose is

(in a fresh page)

privatevoid Page_Load(object sender, System.EventArgs e)
{
// Put user code to initialize the page here
MemoryStream stream =new MemoryStream ();
SqlConnection connection =new
SqlConnection (@."server=INDIA\INDIA;database=iSense;uid=sa;pwd=india");
try
{
connection.Open ();
SqlCommand command =new
SqlCommand ("select Picture from Image", connection);
byte[] image = (byte[]) command.ExecuteScalar ();
stream.Write (image,0, image.Length);
Bitmap bitmap =new Bitmap (stream);
Response.ContentType ="image/gif";
bitmap.Save (Response.OutputStream, ImageFormat.Gif);
}
finally
{
connection.Close ();
stream.Close ();
}
}

what s the problem is.......i'm getting an exception at Bitmap instantiation.

(i.e Bitmap bitmap =new Bitmap (stream);)

exception is "Parameter is not valid"

what is the problem with that coding? was it correct? do u have any code for this in C#? if so, pls provide that.....help me......pls..........

Have a look at
