Has anyone found a solution for this bug. We have been trying partner
support channels but keep getting tranferred to different groups over the
last two weeks and we still have customers that are having the problem. even
with the hotfix applied.
I would appreciate any help you could provide.

About memory amount that SQL Server uses
Is there any function or something like that that returs the amount of MS
SQL Server 2000 memory usage?
Thanks.Take a look into dbcc perfmon command.
Thanks

pages). This reports the main memory allocations used for data caching &
execution plan caching but there are other memory allocations which you can
collect from the Perfmon's Process(sqlservr) performance counter.. If you
want to translate the buffer counts to Mb, simply multiply them by 8192.0 &
divide by 1048576.0

SQL Server 2000 memory usage?
Thanks.Take a look into dbcc perfmon command.
Thanks

pages). This reports the main memory allocations used for data caching &
execution plan caching but there are other memory allocations which you can
collect from the Perfmon's Process(sqlservr) performance counter.. If you
want to translate the buffer counts to Mb, simply multiply them by 8192.0 &
divide by 1048576.0

About memory amount that SQL Server uses
Is there any function or something like that that returs the amount of MS
SQL Server 2000 memory usage?
Thanks.Take a look into dbcc perfmon command.
Thanks

About memory
Hi I have two question:
1. how to know how much memory that sql server is using in the server?
2 in sql server 64 bit, do I need to setup AWE in order to get more memory?
Thanks.One way is to use
SQLServer:Memory Manager
Total Server Memory (KB)
in Windows Performance monitor.
You do not need to set up AWE in 64-bit environments.
Hope this helps,

AWE. A relatively easy way is to use DBCC MEMORYSTATUS & multiply the number
of committed buffers by 8192 then dividing by 1048576 to get the buffer
manager's allocation in Mb. Then, assuming the service hasn't been started
with a -g switch (which alters the SQLServr.exe process's "non buffer
managed" memory allocation or "MTL"), just add a few hundred Mb & you should
be close. This technique is a bit rough but works generically for all
versions & editions of SQL Server.
